NBA 2K13 MyCAREERMode Reflects Player’s Life On and Off the Court

on September 11, 2012 4:12 PM

2k Sports today released a developer diary on MyCAREER mode in NBA 2k13. Made to reflect a player’s life both on and off the court, MyCAREER will allow players the ability to affect their team’s performance and even their own fame with their personal actions. Firstly, players will be able to affect their draft placement with exhibition games, even making it all the way to first draft pick if they play well enough.

Moving forward, NBA 2k13 has added 100 new questions to the press conference feature, which now raises the total to 600. Players will be able to increase their fame, garner more endorsements, star in commercials, and even have their personal life come up in the game commentary. Lastly, players will be able to affect the path their team is taking by sitting down to talk with the GM. Not every discussion will result in something positive, but it will grant fans the chance to feel what it’s like to be an NBA superstar more than ever. You can check the developer diary below, NBA 2k13 is shaping up to be a slam dunk.
