Following its reveal earlier this month, 2K Sports is set to formally announced all of the latest player ratings for the upcoming release of NBA 2K20 later tonight.During a live broadcast that is set to kick off this evening, NBA 2K20 cover athlete Anthony Davis and other members of the 2K team will reveal all of the latest player ratings for this year's game. If you're unfamiliar with what this means, it's basically a way of determining who is the best of the best in the NBA based on the overall score that is then assigned to each player in the league. Not only does this tell us who are likely the best players to utilize in NBA 2K20, but it's also indicative of who the best players in the league at this moment are.Heck, some players actively try to get better at real basketball just so that they can see their 2K score go up. Former Miami Heat player Hassan Whiteside famously said after getting a triple-double once that, "I'm just trying to get my NBA 2K rating up." Basically, these ratings mean a lot not just for NBA 2K20 itself, but when it comes to bragging rights in real life among players as well.On a personal level, I'm most intrigued to see what overall rating Zion Williamson gets for his rookie season. With the way people talk about Zion, you'd think he's destined to be rated at a 99 overall out of the gate but that certainly won't happen. He'll probably be rated somewhere in the mid-80s.I also think that Kawhi Leonard, the newest member of the Los Angeles Clippers, definitely needs to be rated at a 99 overall. He's currently the best player in the league and no one else even comes close except for perhaps Greek Freak. This video pretty clearly explains why that's the case, too.

Anyway, the full ratings reveal is set to kick off on Twitter later tonight at 8:00pm EST or 5:00pm PST. You can watch along by clicking on the tweet linked at the bottom of the page.

NBA 2K20 is set to launch on September 6 for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
