NBA 2K22 Arcade Edition is just around the corner, so, let's have a look at the release date and other launch details of the game.

NBA 2K22 has been out for over a month now, but the new season of real-life NBA league will officially kick off on October 19, and hopefully, 2K has a big surprise for basketball fans on an opening day.

While NBA 2K Mobile is already available for all Android and iOS devices, NBA 2K22 Arcade Edition is a more advanced experience of basketball on mobile devices and provides a much closer experience to the console or PC version of the game.

Prior to the official announcement, 2K Games teased last month that Arcade Edition would be back for this year with big overhauls, compared to previous versions.

NBA 2K22 Arcade Edition Release Date

NBA 2K22 Arcade Edition will be available on October 19 through the Apple Arcade subscription on iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Mac, and Apple TV.

According to the App Store's listing, all devices should be updated to iOS 13.0 or later in order to be able to run the game. Also, the file size for NBA 2K22 Arcade Edition is expected to be a little bit over 6.3 GB if no day one patch is included.

What's Included in the Latest Arcade Edition of NBA 2K

NBA 2K22 Arcade Edition will feature My Career, The Association, and Quick Match modes. The Association is a brand new addition that combines the MyGM and MyTeam features from the original version of the game on consoles. Moreover, the game will also feature multiplayer PvP mode, allowing gamers to play real-time matches against other players from the whole family of iOS and Apple devices.

The developers have also promised significant controller improvements for the game, while it is supposed to support both Xbox One and Dualshock 4 controllers.

The Android users won't have access to NBA 2K22 Arcade Edition, but NBA 2K Mobile will be available on the Google Play store.
