Following on from the latest NBA 2K22 patch that was deployed on December 1st, Visual Concepts have announced the official release date and time for Season 3: Iced Out.
The most recent patch was to pave the way for Season 3, which hits the courts later this week for both current and next-gen consoles. However, there was also a long list of bug fixes and changes so players can have the best Season yet.

NBA 2K22 Season 3 Release Time and Date
NBA 2K22 Season 3: Iced Out will release for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC on Friday, December 3rd, 2021.
According to the latest patch notes for NBA 2K22, the official release time for Season 3 is 8AM PT / 11AM ET / 4PM GMT.
A new patch was deployed on December 1st for both current and next-gen consoles that included a long list of bug fixes and improvements but was also preparation for Season 3. This means that as long as you've already downloaded the most recent update, you won't need to download another for Season 3 on December 3rd.

NBA 2K22 Season 3 'Iced Out' Details
So, what can fans expect from Season 3 of NBA 2K22? Well, a new Courtside Report has all the details, and there's a lot to digest.
Season 3 is all about having the ice in your veins to be that 'clutch' player and win the game for your team in the most intense situations. Alongside new rewards and a complete Christmas overhaul, Season 3 includes the all-new 'Clutch Time' game mode.
The upcoming Multiplayer Mode takes place in the final moments of a game, where you and your opponent start tied with 5 minutes on the clock. To make things even more intense, there's a 14-second shot clock.
If the game ends in a tie, the two players will go into sudden-death overtime, where the next player to score wins.
