As we approach the release of NBA 2K22 Season 5, a new update has been deployed for all supported platforms on February 23. Today’s patch brings the game to version 1.14 and prepares fans for the release of the new season later this week.

The size of today’s update will vary depending on your platform, with some users reporting a download size of 2GB on PlayStation 5, while certain Xbox users state today’s patch is 40GB in size.

NBA 2K22 Season 5 Details

Although yet to be confirmed by the developers, Season 5 of NBA 2K22 is expected to launch at the end of this week on Friday, February 25th, 2022. So move over Elden Ring!

Unfortunately, exactly what’s included in the upcoming season hasn’t been confirmed just yet. But fans can likely expect a ton of new changes to MyTeam, MyCareer, and more.

Players might not notice any immediate changes in today’s NBA 2K22 update, but downloading the new patch will grant you instant access to Season 5 when it launches later this week. No extra download to complete on the day of release!
