As demoed on the show floor of this year’s E3 2015, one of the features coming to this fall’s NBA Live 16 is the inclusion of a face-scanning app that allows players to scan their likeness into the game, though the app will be coming a little bit later than expected.

EA Sports detailed on Twitter that the NBA Live 16 face-scanning app has been delayed, with the app originally scheduled to release on September 8th, 2015 though has experienced a “short delay” from the development team, as the app was experiencing issues during its submission process.

A new release date for the companion app has not been officially announced just yet, though EA Sports assures suers that the app’s delay will have no effect on the release of NBA Live 16‘s demo, which is arriving on September 15th, 2015.

NBA Live 16 will release for PS4 and Xbox One on September 29th, 2015.
