Nearly Half of Xbox One Owners Are Playing Backwards Compatible Games

According to a recent Tweet  from Head of Xbox Phil Spencer, nearly 50 percent of Xbox One owners are playing backwards compatible games.

The tweet begins by announcing that there are now over 300 backwards compatible games on offer, with “nearly 50% of XB1 owners playing BC games,” which Spencer says is “great to see.” But don’t just take my word for it, check out the tweet yourself below:

As mentioned above, the service/feature now boasts over 300 games, which is thanks to yesterday’s addition of the BioShock trilogy. What exactly qualifies as “playing” is anyone’s best guess, however, it is good to see that the feature is getting some love, as well as the older games it offers.

You can check out the full list of games that are supported right here.
