The latest game in the popular racing series Need For Speed was released this week, and Creative Director Craig Sullivan has made a few statements about the game’s plans for downloadable content.
Surprisingly (especially for a game published by EA) there are no plans for any paid DLC or microtransactions in Need For Speed. While additional cars, tracks and other features may come to the game, Ghost Games believes players “deserve” them for free.
While there is currently no in-game store, or any method to charge players, Sullivan did say that paid content could come “eventually”.
Need For Speed is now available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
