Need for Speed NITRO Now on Facebook

Built from scratch and inspired by its Wii and DS counterpart Electronic Arts is proud to bring you Need for Speed NITRO on Facebook! The social networking site (which I believe all of you reading own an account on) will allow players to challenge friends. So, go on and challenge all your friends, even the ones you haven’t talked to in years and probably haven’t seen since grade school. Anyway, I got to try it and it sounds cooler than it actually plays. Here is how Electronic Arts’ press release describes it:

“While this is not a replacement for the Wii or DS versions of the game, the free to play Need for Speed NITRO on Facebook, brings some of the favorite elements from the console game to the social media site. With full 3D models of the cars, along with the same great exotic cities and tracks, players and their friends will get a glimpse of what it feels like to compete and dominate on an international stage.”

Sounds cool… but don’t be fooled. Don’t say I wasn’t right. Check it out for yourself by clicking here.
