Need For Speed Shift Gaming Competition

Need for Speed Shift players start your engines. EA has announced a partnership with GGL and to bring gamers the ultimate driving contest which began on December 4th and will run until March 7th. When it’s all said and done in the Need For Speed Shift Gaming Competition, the top 4 will play in a live final at Black Box’s studio in Vancouver for a chance to be crowned the ultimate driving champion and win a car in the process.

Consisting of seven leaderboard qualifying periods, each round will see the fastest 16 drivers qualify for the playoffs. There is also a special wildcard qualification round in which 16 lucky entrants will automatically make the playoffs. The playoffs will pit the top 128 players in a single elimination bracket to determine the top four drivers.


$40,000 in prizes is up for grabs with $30,000 going to the grand prize winner toward the purchase of a vehicle from The top 4 finalists will receive a trip to Vancouver, British Columbia Canada to compete in the final round of the competition which will be a live event.
