Need for Speed Will Require an Online Connection, Focusing on "Urban Car Culture"

Despite the game not being shown off until E3 2015, developer Ghost Games has taken to Twitter to answer questions about the new Need for Speed reboot. First and foremost is that an internet connection will be required to play the game.

The developer also confirmed the tone of this reboot will not be based off of “Need for Speed Rivals” but instead a, “urban car culture.”

Friends will be able to join your single player experience, but only if you want them too.

You can expect much more information, and hopefully gameplay, at E3 2015 which takes place from June 14-18 in Los Angeles.
