Naughty Dog dropped a huge surprise during last weekend’s PlayStation Experience 2016 with the reveal of The Last of Us: Part II, and following its announcement several bits and pieces of new information have trickled out on the highly-anticipated sequel, including a new co-writer assisting with the story and where it will be heading.

Naughty Dog creative director Neil Druckmann revealed a few more pieces of the puzzle that will be the story of The Last of Us Part II. Speaking to fans on Twitter, Druckmann announced that writer Halley Gross will be co-writing with Druckmann for the story on Part II, with Gross having previously written for HBO’s hit series Westworld, and other projects such as Snowpiercer, Cinemax’s Banshee, and the upcoming series Emerald City.

Along with Gross’ involvement in the project, Druckmann shared only the vaguest hint of what’s to come from the story of The Last of Us: Part II, though he did drop one hint and explained, “Spoiler alert: it’s intense,” while expressing that he “can’t wait to share more of the story” in the future.

The Last of Us: Part II is currently in development for PS4.
