Today, developer Huey Games announced that its upcoming, retro-inspired shoot 'em up Hyper Sentinel is coming to Nintendo Switch, as well as the previously announced PS4, Xbox One, and PC, sometime "later this summer."

A former Kickstarter hopeful that reached its funding goal with 18 days to spare, Hyper Sentinel is a 60fps "super-slick, ultra-fast arcade" pixel-art shooter. The game boasts 12 action packed levels, as variety of power ups and boss battles, 60 medal to complete, online leaderboards, three difficulty modes, and combo-chain score system.

Rob Hewson, CEO & Creative Director of Huey Games accompanied the announcement with the following statement:

"We are thrilled to be bringing HYPER SENTINEL to Nintendo’s newest platform. The fast-paced, high-score chasing gameplay loop is a perfect match for the Switch, and we cannot wait for players to take this amazing experience with them on the go.”

A price-point has yet to be revealed, but a new trailer has: you can check it out below.
