Neptune Will See a Western Release - Let's Celebrate With Some New Screens

To be quite honest, I wasn’t real sure something as wacky as Super Dimensional Game Neptune would ever see North American shores, but it sure looks like that is going to happen, compliments of NIS America. Siliconera conducted an interview with Haru Akenaga, president of NIS America, and received what is likely a confirmation that the game will be coming this way. Here is what he had to say:

“All I can say now is Idea Factory asked us to localize the game for the US and Europe. We are eager to do that. We are in discussion about the conditions for licensing the title. The deal is almost done.”

Sounds like a confirmation to me, unless something about the deal falls through. That is unlikely, because who else would be willing to bring such a unique game to Western regions? The game is a PS3 exclusive in Japan, so it will likely remain that way when it is brought across the Pacific.

Also, today we see some new screenshots for the game, which show off some elemental outfits for Neptune, among other things. It seems that her powers are enhanced based off which costume she is wearing. Check them out after the break!
