Nintendo Is Having Trouble Fulfilling Demand for the NES Classic Edition

November 11, 2016

It may be difficult to get your hands on the NES Classic Edition console that launched today. Demand is high, and there just aren’t enough systems to go around.

But don’t fret, gamers. If you can’t snag one today, Nintendo promises to dish out more of the console throughout the holiday season and into the new year.

While the console is already widely out of stock, there’s still a chance to buy it on Amazon when it goes on sale today at 5 p.m. ET. Good luck.

The NES Classic Edition is a $60 miniaturized version of the original 1985 console and comes with 30 classic games pre-installed, including Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong, Final Fantasy and Metroid.
