With just about two weeks to go, the countdown has officially begun for the upcoming Super Bowl 50, and while you still have time to get together your bets and plan your Super Bowl party, you can get some early advice on who will win courtesy of the 1991 title Tecmo Super Bowl.

Following last night's playoff games in the NFL with the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers to face off in this year's Super Bowl 50, TecmoBowl.org posted its annual prediction for the outcome of the big game, though instead of more traditional predictions, they use the NES-era Tecmo Super Bowl to predict who will win.

According to this year's simulation, using a modified version of Tecmo Super Bowl updated with the latest rosters and team stats, their simulation of the game predicted a Panthers victory of 17-7 over the Broncos - you can see the outcome for yourself in a video of the simulation, and check back if Tecmo Super Bowl was correct with the broadcast of Super Bowl 50 on February 7th, 2016:
