With only a month left until E3 2019, anticipation is already building for the biggest gaming-related show of the year, and as in the past the E3 Coliseum will be hosting another unexpected but interesting guest appearance, this time from the streaming entertainment giant, Netflix.Host Geoff Keighley shared that as part of the revolving series of panels and talks at this year's E3 Coliseum, Netflix will be in attendance during E3 2019 to share "updates and news about its plans in the gaming space."Titled "Bringing Your Favorite Shows to Life: Developing Netflix Originals Into Video Games," presumably we'll hear more about  how Netflix might try to deliver more gaming adjacent content to its streaming offerings, as we have seen from the streaming service in the past few years.Netflix specifically has been delving deeper into trying to merge the world of gaming with TV and entertainment, as we saw earlier this year with Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, an experimental one-off episode of its sci-fi hit anthology series that adopted a "choose-your-own-adventure" experience.Similarly, Netflix also released an adaptation of Telltale Games' Minecraft: Story Mode near the end of last year, which would become one of Telltale's final projects before the studio's closure last September. At the time, Telltale was also planning to adapt Netflix's hit series Stranger Things into one of its signature episodic series, so there might be a decent chance that we could see some sort of announcement from Netflix tied to a new project set in the series' world, or perhaps picking up where Telltale left off.
