Kick off Netflix's The Witcher Season 2 premiere with a custom streaming extension that adds trivia and lore directly to the show!

Season 2 of The Witcher is finally here! With the full season premiering on Netflix on December 17th, two years after the initial season 1 premiere, fans will finally be able to delve back into the world of monsters and corrupt kings.

The live-action TV series is created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, adapted from Andrezj Sapkowski’s original Witcher stories. As with any adaptation, the series had to omit and change certain details from those stories to maintain a high-action story. Luckily, for Witcher mega-fans (or anyone into a bit of trivia!), Alluder provides an easy way to get as much additional lore from the show as possible.

ALLUDER - THE WITCHER CUSTOM STREAMING EXTENSION

Touted as the "Genius, but for Film & TV," Alluder is a custom streaming extension. Though only a few months old, creator Redditor Invictusology launched Alluder so that users can share their favorite facts about their favorite media.

To show off Alluder's capabilities, Invictusology took it upon themselves to create roughly 100 annotations for Netflix's The Witcher. Adding behind-the-scenes tidbits and explaining show references, the extension is truly an easy-access Witcher lore bible.

With detailed explanations of rituals, original lore, and cultural folktales, the extension really enriches the Witcher viewing experience. After all, what better way to catch all the easter eggs and bonus nods to the games and books?

Even better, Alluder will credit their users for their submissions, making sure that show aficionados are recognized for their work. These submissions can be anything from trivia facts about the show's making-of, or videos and pictures. So, users streaming through their browser will be able to see these posts embedded directly into the shows and films through Alluder.

However, Alluder doesn't allow just any post to be published and public. Though they still have a small-but-growing team, Alluder verifies all its posts before publication. That means that any post viewable from the Alluder extension is certified and accurate, so you can trust the authenticity of the words you're reading.
