NeverDead’s First DLC Batch Includes a New Playable Character and Gameplay Challenges

Even though Bryce Boltzmann has only been blasting and slashing demons on your PS3 and Xbox 360 for a week, Konami’s dished out some of the dirty details regarding NeverDead’s¬†first batch of DLC, due out Feb. 21.

This round of downloadable goodies will have you revisiting the Asylum in three new gameplay challenges that include an egg hunt, race through the map and demon slaughterfest.

Additionally, a familiar face will join the fray as a playable character. If you’ve got the game and made it through the first couple of levels, she’s the mouthy pop star you lock in a sarcophagus in order to, we’ll say, “curate” an exhibit at the local museum. Yes, you can assume the role of Nikki Summerfield in online cooperative multiplayer challenges. If she’s as good a shot as she is a chatterbox you’ve got nothing to worry about.
