Gust just published a new batch of information, screenshots and artwork of New Atelier Rorona The Origin Story: The Alchemist of Arland, which is the upcoming PS3 and PS Vita remake of the classic JRPG Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland and will hit the Japanese shelves on November the 21st.

The battle system has been reworked extensively, with changes to the order of turns, giving the player more opportunities for action, now skills will also consume MP, adding a further level to tactics. The assist gauge has been changed to be more intuitive and when two or more assist gauges are filled a special follow up attack will also become available.

The screenshots and artwork also show the new looks of a few characters from the old game: Esty Dee, Astrid Zexis and Ludwig Giovanni Arland (also known as Gio).

Finally, reworked game will introduce a small garden in front of Rorona's house, where seed can be planted to harvest a variety of components.

Below you can check out the gallery with all the screenshots and artwork released today. Gotta say, the game looks better than ever.
