New Batman: Arkham City Trailer Shows Off The Penguin

Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot, AKA — The Penguin, is one of the most well-known villains in the DC universe. His small stature makes him look feeble in every sense of the word, making his appearance less intimidating than that of the likes of other Gotham villains. But what makes The Penguin far more dangerous than most of the other baddies that occupy Gotham is his intricate arsenal of toys (i.e. an umbrella that’s also a gun); his ability to lead a mob of psychotic individuals against the Dark Knight; his overall glamouring demented mind as he showcases his criminal and financial expertise and hand-to-hand expertise. You wouldn’t expect The Penguin to be skilled at hand-to-hand, even though his hands resemble canvas punch mitts. Especially against someone like Batman — but the man is full of surprises.

The newest trailer for Batman: Arkham City gives us a glimpse at The Penguin and his mischievous ways as he tries to rid of Gotham’s hero, Batman, while he beats mental patients to a pulp. Of course, you’ll quickly notice that he doesn’t look like your traditional penguin, as he sports a much gritter look than what we’re accustomed to in other Batman venues.  But enough talk from me — check out the new trailer after the jump.
