New BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend Trailer is Awesome and Entirely in Japanese

The new trailer released for BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend doesn’t really showcase anything new, but it finally solidifies the game’s name. Initially we believed the game was named BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II Plus (or +) but the official name of the game is set in stone, which makes things a bit easier. Furthermore, the enclosed trailer features some lovely Relius Clover game-play, showing off his powerful anti-air techniques and Distortion Drives.

If you can read and understand Japanese, then I’m certain quite a few details are being addressed about the game’s online mode, which appears to feature 2-on-2 and 3-on-3 battles. I’m guessing this means turn-based, team fights ala the King of Fighters. In BlazBlue! Imagine! BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend is slated for a Japanese release this winter and is so far only confirmed for the PS3 and PS Vita. Hit the break for the trailer.
