Prepare for more incoming content, Borderlands-ians!

Previously announced earlier this year, Gearbox Software has announced that its upcoming Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2, a new DLC for Borderlands 2, will be releasing on September 3rd for $5. While introducing plenty of new content and challenges for Borderlands 2 players still looking for more (even after the healthy doses of DLC already available for the game!), the Upgrade Pack 2 will also raise the level cap in Borderlands 2 to Level 72. In addition, the pack will also include the Digistruct Peak Challenge, which will provide a series of new challenge modes and events that players that take on for higher-level loot and rewards while fighting some incredibly-challenging enemies.

Gearbox also teased even more content coming soon by way of the “Headhunter” DLC packs, a trio of new DLC that will be released by the end of the year and that each provides a series of short themed-missions – the first, “TK Baha’s Bloody Harvest,” will have players fighting the Pumpkin Kingpin in a Halloween harvest-inspired world and be out on Halloween, followed by two more packs later this year.

The Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 is out next week on September 3rd, and the Headhunter DLC packs will release later this year (the first around Halloween) for Borderlands 2.
