It's been quite a while since we saw some new assets from Kojima Productions' upcoming game Death Stranding, but today Hideo Kojima himself decided to deliver a small tease.

The tease came in the form of what appears to be a close-up screenshot featuring rocky terrain covered in some really beautiful moss.

Kojima-san also accompanied the screenshot with the message "+1 on the T-minus 3 weeks. #E32018 Decima×Kojima=DS." which echoed one posted today by Naughty Dog's own Neil Druckmann.

You can check it out below. While it may not be much, it's certainly better than nothing, and it looks great as well.

We already know that Death Stranding will be featured at E3 with a trailer, and it's very possible that this image will appear in the new footage. Unfortunately, we don't know just how much will be revealed next month.

Death Stranding has been announced only for PS4 at the moment, and it's being developed on Guerrilla Games' Decima Engine. No release date or window has been announced, or even teased for now.

In the meanwhile, you can enjoy the latest trailer.
