Sega released a new trailer of the upcoming 2D arcade fighting game Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax, that pitches several anime heroines (or better, heroines from the light novels by publisher Dengeki Bunko, that have been made into anime series), showcasing quite a few characters from the game.

We see Asuna from Sword Art Online, Shana from  Shakugan no Shana, Kirino from My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute, and Misaka from A Certain Magical Index. We also catch a glimpse of other characters from the same series acting as supporting characters.

More interestingly, one of the stages shown in the video is definitely inspired by Valkyria Chronicles (the tanks are unmistakable). We also learned today as part of the announcements coming from the Dengeki Bunko event held in Akihabara, Tokyo, that the director and producer of the game are Takaharu Terada and Ryutaro Nonaka, that respectively directed and produced the original Valkyria Chronicles.

I'm sure I'm not the only one wishing that Sega would stop shoehorning Valkyria Chronicles in every available crossover game and finally made Valkyria Chronicles 4 instead...
