Today developer ZeniMax Online Studios revealed some brand new details about two pieces of upcoming content hitting its game The Elder Scrolls Online.
First off, the Horns of the Reach DLC pack will include two new dungeons. The first, titled Bloodroot Forge, will see players navigate through thick vegetation and lava-rich environments in order to reach the center of an abandoned forge. The second dungeon is named Falkreath Hold. In it, players will need to defend a town from an onslaught of enemies. Both dungeons will see players fighting against both new and old enemies.
Then we have Update 15, which is set to introduce a bit of new content. Most notably, players will be able to fight in two new Battlegrounds maps, Arcane University and Chaosball, however these will only be available to those who own the recently released Morrowind Expansion. You’ll also be able to cancel research projects mid-way, view a guild invite history, and deposit Alliance Points and Writ Vouchers into your bank account.
Horns of the Reach will be available via the in-game Crown Store, and it will also be a part of the ESO Plus subscription service. Unlike the DLC pack, Update 15 will be available to all players, free of charge. Both are set to be released sometime in August of 2017.
Currently, ZeniMax Studios is holding an in-game ESO Plus Bonus event, which includes a free trial of the aforementioned subscription service.
The Elder Scrolls Online was originally released on April 4th, 2014, and is available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
