Detective Pikachu got a new trailer ahead of its Western launch next month featuring the still off-putting yellow investigator and a slew of problem-ridden Pokémon.

You can check out the full trailer below.

It's these Pokémon whose behavior Pikachu is trying to understand and, according to the trailer, it seems like Mewtwo has something to do with it. The combination of puzzle, mystery, and quick-time events will lead players to crack the case.

The trailer features Tim Goodman, who is trying to figure out what happened to his father, and a cast of other humans who are attempting to navigate the noir world of Pokémon who are lashing out.

The game originally released in Japan in February of 2016. Now, with its release in Europe and North America set for March, the game will include all of the previously released content, as well as additional content for its new release which means more characters (Pokémon included).

Detective Pikachu is set to release on March 23 for the 3DS and it will be available both on the Nintendo eShop and physically for $39.99 (giant Pikachu amiibo not included). In case you weren't already aware, there's a Detective Pikachu movie coming out starring Ryan Reynolds as the hunting-cap donning detective.
