Protector Trials has been released for BioShock 2 on Xbox Live for 400 Microsoft Points and on the PlayStation Network for $4.99.

Protector Trials expands the single-player campaign, and puts players back into Big Daddy’s boots as he defends his Little Sister against Splicers. Protector Trials is the first single-player focused downloadable add-on which features an array of new challenges, six new maps with three unique difficulty levels, new unlockables like never-before-seen concept art and videos, and seven new achievements/trophies.

The Protector Trails will available on Games for Windows at a later date.
