New Dragon Quest X Questline Features Pirate Cats

I seriously love how Square Enix is adding new quests and content to Dragon Quest X: Mezameshi Itsutsu no Shuzoku Online basically every week.

A new questline is about to hit the Japanese servers tomorrow (well, I guess it’s already today in Japan), with the second “episode” scheduled for Thursday.

The new questline gets its outset in the town of Juretto in the Uena islands, where food is being stolen by mysterious thieves. As the character investigates, he’ll discover that a group of cats is behind it, but there’s a lot more hidden behind this simple appearance.

Below you can see a few screenshots from both quests. One thing is for sure: they aren’t the usual throwaway quests that get added just to keep things busy. They always feature newly designed models and interesting stories.

If Square Enix will manage to keep this pace, a possible Western release would have a very pleasing amount of content for us to enjoy. Now all it would take to make me happy is a little missing announcement.

Come on Square Enix, give me a reason to get a Wii U, will you?
