New Drakengard 3 Screenshots and Artwork Show Utautai Mode, the World and the Sexy Five

June 27, 2013

Square Enix Just released a new and large batch of screenshots and artwork of Drakengard 3 (Drag-On Dragoon 3 in Japan), that will hit the shelves of the archipelago of the Rising Sun on October the 31st.

We get to see more of One, the first sister of the female lead Zero, and of Zero herself. The two have a relationship painted with violent conflict. We also get a quite bloody glimpse on the Utautai mode, that can be triggered when Zero’s white (and skimpy) clothes get completely soaked in the blood of her enemies. It will cause her to become extremely violent and blind with rage as she slashes and cuts everything and everyone in her path.

We also meet Five, Zero’s youngest sister and ruler of the Sea country. She’s greedy and overconfident, and wants to have all the men at her feet, but she tends to lose interest in them as soon as she gets what she wants. Did I mention that she’s also most definitely sexy?

Finally, we can rest our eyes on six beautiful artwork pieces portraying a few locations of the game’s world. A coliseum and an undersea city in the Sea country, two illustrations of the “church” from which the Utautai come, a desert town and a forest.

You can check out the full gallery, that also includes the game’s key art, below.
