New Face-Melting For the Month of August

For those of you who can not wait until Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock hits shelves this September and need a little something to hold you over, look no further. Being launched this month are a whole slew of new tracks from some of rocks biggest names including The Used, Sum 41, Weezer, Megadeath and P.O.D. This will give fans all over something to rock to until Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock comes out. Whether you like alternative, punk or heavy metal, August’s track list is sure to have something that you will enjoyand to top it all off these songs will be compatible with Guitar Hero 5, Band Hero and Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock.

These collections of songs, by each group will release at various times spaced out throughout the month. They will be available for download on Xbox Live, PlayStation Store and on the Wii. The cost for each pack will be 440 Microsoft Points, 550 Wii Points or $5.49 at the PlayStation Store. Don’t worry if there are only one or two songs you want from each track list, because each track will be available for download separately as well. So get out there and fine tune your face-melting skills before Guitar Hero:Warriors of Rock hits shelves this September.
