New Far Cry 5 Video Shows Guns for Hire, a Giant Truck and... More

Ubisoft shows more Far Cry 5 gameplay showing guns and fangs for hire, trucking and... things that you can't unsee.

June 15, 2017

Today Ubisoft released a new Far Cry 5 video showcasing the demo that was playable at E3 2017.

The video comes with the commentary of Creative Director Dan Hay, showing off the Guns and Fangs for Hire feature of the game, allowing you to recruit three companions, the pilot Nick Rye, the sniper Grace Armstrong and the dog Boomer.

Nick can strafe and bomb your enemies for a bit of healthy fireworks, Grace is silent when she moves, and can take down cultists with ruthless precision, while Boomer excels at attacking the enemies you mark from different direction while you go in for the kill on the others.

We also get another look at the giant Widowmaker truck, that has an interesting cameo in the form of a recognizable bobblehead, and a look on cow mating, because nothing says countryside like cow mating. You can’t unsee that now? Good.

You can check it out below, and if you want to see more, you can take a look at a video featuring Nick Rye from yesterday, new screenshots and artwork, the collector’s edition, and more footage from Ubisoft’s E3 2017 press conference.

He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
