The Nintendo Switch showcase currently being aired from Tokyo filled the sports game gap with the announcement of a FIFA game for the system.

No release date has been given for the game by EA Sports title but it was revealed that it will have special features that will take advantage of the features of the hybrid handheld/console.

Unfortunately no trailer or screenshots were provided. However, more details will apparently be revealed in the upcoming months so soccer/football fans keep your eyes open and your feet ready.

This is probably the “big” game Electronic Arts executives have been teasing as the company’s┬ádebut title within the lineup of the Switch. It’ll be interesting to see if the experiment will be successful, and more will follow in the future.
