The Final Fantasy franchise is truly a well-oiled machine that sees no signs of stopping. The first game in the series was released in 1987 and since then, it branched into other video game genres such as MMORP, racing, CGI films, anime, manga, and novels. Lately, Square Enix announced the Final Fantasy 7 artbook - Final Fantasy VII Remake: Material Ultimania - that will release in English for those wanting to get the non-Japanese version.

Now, you can even your hands on a brand new Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children watch if that tickles your fancy.

Over on the Square Enix store, a brand new watch is up for grabs that is sure to pique the interest of the large and unique Final Fantasy fandom. The watch is rather basic in design but nonetheless, it gives off a classic and simplistic vibe. The limited-edition Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children wristwatch comes in two sizes, 34mm and 39mm, and in regular and limited editions. The watch face features Cloud's Cloudy Wolf, seen as a symbol of Cloud's loneliness and his guilt for the deaths of two of his friends: Aerith Gainsborough and Zack Fair, as well as for his other failures.

On the other side of the watch, Sephiroth's black feathers are clearly seen on one side representing his wing. The regular edition of the watch can be bought for $299 and if you thought that was steep, the limited edition is $349. What's nice about this watch is that it's subtle and not over the top, especially the addition of the Mother of Pearl subdial which is a nod to the lifestream, also known as spirit energy, that streams beneath the surface of the planet of Gaia introduced in Final Fantasy 7.

You can pre-order the watch via the Square Enix store with shipments expected to start in November this year.
