Today's issue of Weekly Famitsu included a message from Final Fantasy Brand Manager Shinji Hashimoto, talking about the 30th anniversary celebrations for the series.

Hashimoto-san mentions that the first event will be an escape game in collaboration with Final Fantasy XIV that will be hosted in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Sapporo and Fukuoka, featuring sixty minutes fighting mysteries set in the world of Final Fantasy, but that's just the beginning.

He closed the message with a tease, mentioning that "as for other 30th anniversary projects, there are things that will be announced soon, so please look forward to it."

At the moment Square Enix shared no information on the nature of those projects, but we'll probably learn more in the upcoming few months. Of course, you'll be able to read all about it here as soon as they share anything relevant.
