New Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Trailer Shows the Fashion of Eorzea as Third Phase of the Beta Closes

on July 15, 2013 9:50 AM

This morning the third phase of the beta of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn ended, but to help fans with the upcoming withdrawals Square Enix released a new trailer that premiered yesterday during a live broadcast on Nico Nico, showing a large number of characters in the game and giving us a glimpse on the variety of customization that can be achieved and on the equipment we’ll be able to wear.

While we don’t know when the beta will restart, we already know that the new benchmark that will include the game’s character creator will be released on August the 1st, while the next Letter from the Producer Live will happen on August the 8th. Considering that new phases of the beta normally happen around the date of a livestream, it’s very possible that the open beta will begin then.

Below you can check out the new trailer, and above you can see a picture from a beach party thrown to say goodbye to the third phase of the beta. Try to spot me while you wait for my hands on preview, that will come very soon.
