New Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Video Showcases the Character Creation

A few days ago Square Enix released a few screenshots from the character customization of the alpha version of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Today they went a step further, publishing a full video of the whole process.

The videos showcases the creation of a Miqo’te female and a Hyuran male, and gives us a good idea on the many customization options that will be available in the game, even if the community representatives already explained that even more will be unlocked when the final version will be released.

It’s funny that the video came out of the woodwork exactly as I was playing the game. Got to knock out the last few quests before the final save at the end of the month, that will lead up to the fall of Dalamud on Eorzea and pave the way for the release of A Realm Reborn. In Final Fantasy XIV the sky is falling, and judging from the video below, it’s a very good thing. It looks great.

How did that song go? It’s the end of the world as we know it…and I feel fine!
