Today, during the opening keynote of the Final Fantasy XIV FanFest held in Las Vegas, Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida announced the new expansion for the game.

The expansion will be titled Stormblood and will release in early summer 2017. It’s already currently in development.

During the keynote it wasreleased that the expansion will be set in Ala Migho, and the release trailer showcased a class that definitely looked like a Dancer, even if the identity of the job was not confirmed and this is just my speculation/wishful thinking.

The story of the expansion will revolve about getting Ala Mhigo back from the Garlean Empire, as many may have guessed.
