New Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward Video Shows Flying Mounts in Action and a Floating Island

If you want to see Final Fantasy XIV‘s upcoming flying mounts that will be released with the Heavensward expansion on June 23rd, today a video was showcased during the Letter from the Producer Live broadcast.

The video gives us a glimpse on what flying will be like, including seamless take off (with the jump key, or you can also just walk off a ledge) and landing.

The griffon mount showcased in the video is one of the bonuses included in the expansion’s collectors edition, but there will be more available to everyone, including the dragon pictured above.
