Upcoming Final Fantasy XIV Jobs Shown on The Cover of November Famitsu Connect! On

Looks like It’s Final Fantasy XIV news day, as another unexpected, but extremely juicy tidbit has just come to my attention.

One of the most awaited upcoming features between Final Fantasy XIV players is the new job system, that will be built on top of the current Armoury system and that will allow characters to be specialized in the classic Final Fantasy jobs that we all know and love.

Not much is known about it so far, not even when it’ll be released exactly. Today, tough, we can finally get a sneak peek on how they will look, as shown by a beautiful (as usual) illustration by Akihiko Yoshida that will appear on the November issue of Famitsu Connect! On, the version of the Japanese gaming magazine┬ádedicated to MMORPGs.

The illustration shows a Paladin, a Dark Knight, A Black Mage, a White Mage, A Ranger/Bard (of sorts), a Monk and what seems a Dragoon (or a Warrior, feel free to post your opinion in the comments on that, because I can’t decide). If you don’t get some strong Final Fantasy XI vibes from their looks, it’s just because you never played Final Fantasy XI.

This also gives us a hint on when the new/classic jobs will be released. If they are on the cover of the November issue, the actual release won’t probably be too far from then. Dibs on Paladin!
