New Final Fantasy XIV PS4 Open Beta Client Now Available on the PlayStation Store

on April 3, 2014 11:22 PM

If you want to be ready for the opening of the floodgates of the last phase of the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn open beta tomorrow (at 1 AM Pacific) you may want to start downloading the client, that has now been made available on the PlayStation Store.

Remember that if you took part in the first phase of the beta test about a month ago, you won’t be able to use the same client, so you will have to uninstall that one and download the new version.

Players that already have characters in the game will be able to use them during the open beta (unless they were created during the first phase of the beta. Those have been canceled), and all progression earned from now on will carry over to the live game.

The beta will stay open until April 7 at 1 AM Pacific, so if you’re still on the fence on whether to get the game or not, you may want to make those 72 hours count.
