Square Enix just posted a new video teasing the 1.19 update to Final Fantasy XIV (to be launched on October the 4th). This time under the spotlight are the weapons that will be obtained by beating Ifrit in hard mode.

This tells us two things, first of all that the weapons made with the horns of the fiery primal look awesome (and they glow) ans secondly that there will be a hard mode.  Can't say that the development team isn't going all-out with this patch.
