New Fire Emblem: Awakening Trailer Features the Character Progression

One of the best elements of the Fire Emblem series has always been the deep and complex leveling system that allows the player to radically customize his characters (or “units” as they are called in the series’ lingo) to fit every battle situation.

Awakening won’t be different, and features a full fledged leveling trees that includes a large number of classes and advanced classes to chose from, and to freely switch between battles thanks to an array of special seals. To explain how it’ll work to those that never played any game from the Saga, Nintendo published today a new trailer that gives us a glimpse on the leveling tree and mechanics, on top of quite a bit of gameplay footage.

If you’re eager to play and you live in the US, you won’t have much longer to wait as the game will be released in less then a week. If you’re in Europe like me, unfortunately the wait will be much longer, as Fire Emblem: Awakening won’t hit the European shelves before April the 19th.
