New First-Person Shooter SUPERHOT Will Make You Move Time By Moving

It’s safe to say that Blue Brick’s new project SUPERHOT is something you have not quite seen before.

Blue Brick, a Poland-based studio, has created SUPERHOT, an FPS game where time only moves when you move. As you can see in the trailer and screenshots below, this means that when you’re taking on a barrage of bullets, side-stepping and standing still will let the bullets whiz by while you take on the slow-falling enemies left behind. With a limited amount of ammunition and unforgiving foes, SUPERHOT is looking to give players a game full of intense action scenes that makes them combine grace, style and brutality to survive.

You can actually try a browser-based version of game on the SUPERHOT website for free (which will explain to you why I started this piece the way I did); if you like it enough, feel free to lend support to Blue Brick by voting for SUPERHOT on Steam Greenlight.

For more details and ways to support the game, check out the SUPERHOT Facebook page and the SUPERHOT Twitter feed. The music in the trailer, “Anthem,” was provided by Adhesive Wombat, who you can check out on SoundCloud.

Born and raised in video games and "geek culture," Masoud has been bred off of fantasy worlds his entire life and doesn't see anything wrong with that. He loves RPGs (especially TRPGs), sandbox games, the sci-fi genre, dieselpunk, art deco, and anything that allows him to create. Having graduated from John Jay College with a degree in English and a minor in Creative Writing, Masoud hopes to one day pen the same novels, comics, movies, and video games he enjoys escaping into when the real world gets too boring.
