Today developer IllFonic and publisher Gun Media teased a ton of new content that will be coming to their horror game Friday the 13th: The Game.

First off, a new map will be coming soon. While no further details were given, it was revealed that it will be based on a location straight from the movies. Speaking of maps, Higgins, Packanack, and Crystal Lake are all being re-imagined with more emphasis on fast-paced gameplay.

Secondly, eight brand new emotes will be added for players to use. While the details of these emotes were not announced, a gif showcasing two of them was released. You can check it out at the end of the article.

In addition to that, some brand new skin packs were also announced. The first is titled Spring Break 1984 Clothes Pack, and will be available for $3.99 sometime in the near future. Two other clothes packs, however it's unknown when these will release, or what they will include.

Last, but not least, a new playable Jason, new kills, and two new counselors will all be added to game.

Friday the 13th: The Game was released on May 26th, 2017, and is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A few weeks ago it was revealed that the game had surpassed 1.8 million units in sales, and that it has been a huge learning experience for its developers.
