Today, The Coalition and Microsoft announced that the first set of DLC for Gears of War 4 will release on November 1st. The DLC, which contains two multiplayer maps, is the first month of free monthly map updates that will release over the next year (each month coming with two new maps).

The two maps will included this month are "two of the most popular Gears of War Legacy Maps:" Checkout and Drydock. Both maps will be available in Versus Multiplayer, as well as Horde Mode.

For Season Pass holders, the maps will release on November 1st as part of the early access Developer Playlist. For non-season pass holders, the maps will be made available in public playlists on November 8th.

Transported from a COG ship building facility to a ship breaking scrapyard on a Seran mudflat, this fan favorite returns with a vengeance to Gears of War 4 Versus Multiplayer and Horde modes.
