Today Gran Turismo Sport Producer Kazunori Yamauchi disclosed on Twitter the release date of the new major update for the game.

We’ll get it on July 30th, as you can see below.

Interestingly, the tweet also indicates that we’re getting seven new cars. The one in the middle definitely seems to be some sort of formula car, while we get to see a rather diverse mix of rides, from vintage supercars with what appears to be a Ferrari Ferrari 250 Gto to kei cars like the Daihatsu Copen, the Honda Beat, and the Honda S660.

A few days ago, we learned that Gran Turismo Sport passed five million players worldwide. Just yesterday we also learned that Sony has partnered with Mercedes-Benz to organize a new eSport competition in Italy.

It’s currently available exclusively for PS4. If you’re interested, you can grab a copy on Amazon.
