New Gran Turismo Sport vs Gran Turismo 6 Video Comparison Shows Massive Differences at Nürburgring

When GT Sport was unveiled, some mentioned that it looked almost like Gran Turismo 6, perhaps remembering the old game through the rose-tinted glasses of nostalgia.

A few days ago, we saw a comparison that proved that graphics have evolved quite visibly, and now the same YouTube user, Squarealex [-Red-Fing-], posted a new one showing Gran Turismo‘s crown jewel: The Nürburgring Nordschleife.

The video, that you can see below, and using footage courtesy of GTplanet, showcases some really massive differences between the old rendition of the track and the new one. One of the most visible updates is in how trees are lighted, which increases the realism of the picture by a large margin, but that’s definitely not the only one.

This time around the footage also uses a camera that doesn’t show the interior of the car, letting us appreciate the environmental differences with more screen estate.

You can check it out below and see for yourself. Incidentally, the original GT Sport video was removed, but YouTube user Gray Fox saved it for your perusal, and you can enjoy it at the bottom of the post, as long as it remains up.
