Following today’s announcement for the Japanese market of New Gundam Breaker, Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe followed up by revealing that the game will actually come west.
According to the press release, the game will launch in western regions in 2018 as it will in Japan, even if we did not get a release window.
Another element in common with the Japanese announcement is the platform, which at the moment is only PS4. Normally Bandai Namco announces additional platforms for the west as soon as the localization is revealed, but this time around the press release explicitly mentions PS4 exclusivity.
The game comes with an interesting innovation compared to its predecessors. Players will still be able to acquire parts from enemy mobile suits by destroying them, but this time around you won’t need to go back to your hangar to equip them. You’ll be able to do so directly on the battlefield.
Together with the announcement, we also got the first English teaser trailer, and a batch of screenshots, that you can enjoy below.
