In a new interview published today, Phil Spencer, the new head of Xbox, talks a bit about his history and games he’s been working with since joining Microsoft. Starting in 1988, Spencer has been actively engaged with big names and familiar titles that put Xbox on the map including working with Peter Molyneux on the original Fable and Brian Reynolds from Civilization.
Surprisingly, his favorite game is listed as Voodoo Vince, a child-friendly RPG adventure that he completed with his daughters.
To me, games are experiences that you have with people whether it’s family or friends…
He also states that:
We (Microsoft) have the ambition to build the best console for fans.
